My Ray of Sunshine - (by PunkShell)
Well, this one is like a dream come true which I never thought of...
The day I met this lady at barista, as per her convenience :) I was floored by her charm, she didn’t have any striking feature, but still she could demand my mind & heart...dint fell in love with her, definitely not!!! but there was an urge to be in touch with her, have never felt that, but... well, I guess god had better plans for me that's why unknowingly I was in touch with her & every time I chat with her, she would make me feel as if she knows me well & she is comfortable with me...
...
As I feel, I am in the wrong lifetime with all meaning that comes with it...
The risks entailed in "modern" love are personal and individual, and so are its impediments.
Where lovers once battled against social norms, they now wrestle with each other's inner demons, which seem to be just as effective in keeping them apart. ...One Man's Story - Part I - (by Kevin)
By the time I turned 27 I was a first-date professional. I had been in love once before - in college - but hadn't got serious with anyone since. I was putting in 12-hour days at my job and wasn't getting out much, so most of my dates were setups. But 10 minutes into those, I'd know the girl wasn't for me. So when some friends asked if I wanted to join a kickball league, I agreed, thinking it might be a way to meet women.
What happened next was right out of one of those romantic chick flicks:
There was this cute Kristin Davis lookalike girl on my team and while having a couple beers after a game, we started talking. I was immediately comfortable with Kate and didn't feel as if I had to hold anything back. We actually bounded by making fun of people at the bar. Our similar senses of humour really drew us together. At the end of the night, I walked her to the car and gave her a hug.
I was curious to see what would happen when I saw her at the next game, and it was the same scenario. We went for drinks and closed down the bar. Again, I walked her to the car. We exchanged e-mail addresses, and I gave her a hug. May be I sound like a wuss for not making a move, but I could actually picture myself with this girl, so I didn't want to blow it by showing my tongue down her throat. I knew I'd be seeing her every week at kickball, so I decided to take my time. ...Together...Forever... - (by -Baby-J-)

The wind blew past Harriet as she stood there by her mother’s grave, she tried her hardest not to cry, but she couldn't help it, she collapsed and hugged the grave tightly as if she was trying to squeezes her mother back to life. Harriet fell back on the snow, her eyes cold and full of tears, her mascara running down her face, her breath traveling on the cold air. She looked up to find a boy her age standing beside her, "Are you alright?" He asked his voice so kind and gentle.
"Yes...I’m fine...sorry...it's just..."
"I bet she was a lovely person" The Boy said giving a sympathetic smile and helping Harriet up. ...A never ending love story - (by Selee)
