This annual festival is held during the autumn of the year at the Homeland Heritage Park in Homeland, Florida, nestled in the heart of Polk County. This gem of a place preserves the past and comes to life during this festival, presenting the laughter, drama, teachings and morals of the area's first settlers. With a mixture of old Cracker tales, African-American fables and Native American legends, the threads of story are woven into the tapestry of a culture.
