The NSF in nearby Jonesborough, Tennessee, is the oldest and largest showcase for contemporary storytelling in the U.S. ETSU Storytelling students serve as behind-the-scenes interns for the festival, as well as for the National Storytelling Network, the principal professional storytelling membership organization, also headquartered in Jonesborough.
