Today is Thursday. One day left to Christmas Break. Woo! Dick woke me up this morning and offered me a ride to school. Only because Kathy was sick, but it was whatever. He even offered to pick up Cory, so now I was in a really good mood. But he said I had to hurry, so I jumped up and threw on my crumpled and very short navy blue and white plaid school shirt, a white Oxford, and gray tights. I slipped into coral red Ugg boots (mid-length), and brushed my hair into a pony. Of course I wore one of my big Forever 21 rings. (: I brushed my teeth, whipped on my backpack, and headed downstairs to kiss my parents goodbye.
Mary Claire offered me a little brown paper bag, but I told her I had money and kept walking. "It's breakfast!" she called after me. Dick, who was walking behind me, grabbed the bag for me and kissed Mary Claire's cheek.

My name's Katherine DeMarcus, but my family and friends call me Kathy or Katie. I was born into a wealth. You're typical, All-American family. Hahaha. I've got one good-looking, but intelligent older brother, two loving parents, and a small black Labrador.
My brother's name is Richard, but we all call him Dick. Pretty cool, huh? Hahaha. He likes it. Dick's got dark brown hair and blue eyes, a chiseled facial structure, and a body to match. He looks a lot like Ashton Kutcher, but I think only me, his girlfriend, my best friend, Liz, and a few other girls at our school think that. He used to model for Abercrombie Kids when he was a kid, thanks to my Aunt Beth who is a retired A&F Kids saleswoman. On top of that-nothing but A's all his life-so far. As I said, he has a girlfriend. Her name's Kathy too. Gross. I'm convinced she's just about the sluttiest girl I've ever come to know, but she's good to my brother and makes him smile, so I stay out of their way most of the time.
