LITTLE KELLY

Little Kelly dropped her head. Bright blue eyes, filled with aligator tears. As she hides underneath her iron bed three sizes too small, all she hears is mommy's voice schoing sharply in her ears. Cursing dadd, and grabbing a knife.

She hears the front door slam, and mommy sits at the kitchen table. Little Kelly just a room away watches mommy slit her wrist, and spill a bottle of red pills.

Daddy then bust the door open to see the display. He pulls a pistol from his pocket. Threatens mommy's life, then curses and grabs the phone. With daddy's back to her, mommy jabs the knife into daddy's back screaming, 'bastard!!'

When daddy falls to the ground, Little Kelly makes a whimper, and connects eyes with monny. She scampers out from under the bed, and into the corner clasping her knees to her chest. Mommy comes at her, and snatches her up by her hair.

Mommy asks her to do things she's afraid of. Little Kelly's job was to bury daddy. With tears forming puddles at her feet, she slowly drags daddy's heavy body out the back door, and into the creak. When she walks back into the house, she finds mommy with her arm gashed open and covered in blood and needles. She watches mommy's lifeless body fall hard onto the hard tile floor.

Little Kelly falls to her knees and begins to sob. She slowly drags mommy out of the kitchen and to the creak outside. Little Kelly falls asleep along with mommy's mutated arm.

The next morning, Little Kelly's body along with mommy and daddy were found. A young police man driving past seen blood smears, and desided to investigate.

Little Kelly was taken awsy, and given to a family who loved her. No more hiding, no more yelling. No more knifes and needles.

Little Kelly was saved by the Grace Of God, and carried by Guardian Angels.
